I made a quick transfer into the account to stop the bleeding; he called them and they said he would incur MORE charges because they had more debit charges (totaling less than $20) pending. Anyway ... the final tab is over $200. Why could they not stop the processing until I could deposit money in this account? This is NOT the first time this has happened, but it will be the last. I have tried to get them to explain how they process the charges ... and the only thing I can see is that they process what is pending in a way that allows the overdraft charges to occur.

They out of courtsey refunded me some overdraft charges, then sent me a letter saying it the credit would appear as as depoist, and not to rely on on line banking and to keep a register. Well I did and added the depoist to the register.. well you guessed it never showed up.. and created even more overdrafts.. their respones I should have know it was already there... no where have I ever seen it,, and it caused almost 1k in overdrafts... for what they call mis communication on their part but I should have know.. I am beside myself with them and will not stop till they make this right.

I had many overdrafts because they had reorganized my purchases, sorting them by descending amount instead of sorting them in chronological order. They told me that it was because they had to secure the larger portions first, as they were more important to the bank. Whatever. It feels like robbery. Anyway, I'm enjoying seeing blockbuster die out because so much of their income was late fees. Big late fees. Not the $40 I've paid for one pack of overdraft-cigarettes, so I still resent blockbuster and when the Netflix of banks comes along.. I'll use that.
